AI: Bridging UK and Belgium Ecosystems

Healthcare is rapidly becoming a crucial field for Artificial Intelligence integration, and Southern Belgium is at the forefront of its development.

Artificial Intelligence and medical research are growing more and more closely interrelated, in particular in the fields of neuroscience and medical imaging.

As we continue to invest and research this rapidly evolving sector, it’s vital that we come together as industry leaders, experts, and pioneers in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Health, and share the latest insights into how AI is transforming brain health.

This September 26th, we brought together sector leader from the UK and Belgium AI and health ecosystems to share industry insights, focusing on AI applications for brain health and medical imaging, along with its applications in neuroimaging and brain disease treatment.

Key speakers included:
Dr. Maxime Taquet, University of Oxford, known for his research in AI applications for brain health
Prof. Benoit Macq, UCLouvain, renowned for his expertise in AI-driven medical imaging
Prof. Yves-Alexandre de Montjoye, Imperial College London, an authority in computational privacy and AI
PhD. Christian Wolff, Head of Epilepsy Discovery Research UCB Pharma, a distinguished expert in neurosciences
Dr. James Cole, University College London, an expert in neuroimaging and AI applications for studying brain aging and neurological disorders
